A Very Short Story...
I lost my wallet with everything imaginable in it…
It must off fell out of my pocket as I was running to my car
After an extensive search, it was gone!
4 hours later, I get a call..
It’s a woman who says…”a homeless man found your wallet and want to return it”
I meet this man and he YELLS at me..”I’m an honest person and I found your wallet!”
The thing is, he found the wallet 2 miles from where I eventually met him
He had walked and asked everyone if he could use a mobile phone to call me
Finally, this sweet elderly lady made the call
The man and I had a brief conversation, I rewarded him and thanked him
He looked me in the eyes and the last thing he said was…
”I’m an honest man!”
Yes, he is.
